Position
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated with a positive and open attitude to perform services on recreational and commercial boats which includes:
- General Servicing - Outboards, Inboards, Stern Drives & Trailers
- Diagnostics & Repairs - Mechanical & Electrical
- Electrical - Rewiring
- Fitting Electronics & Accessories
- Problem Solving
- General Hand & Assisting Colleagues
- Mobile & On-Water Services
- Water Testing Clients Boats
Skills, Qualifications & Licenses
Certificate III - Marine Mechanical - Highly regarded, but not necessary. Automotive mechanical qualifications considered.
- Driver's License
- General Boat License
- Forklift / High Risk Work (LF) License - Highly regarded.
Experience
Ideally 2+ years experience with internal combustion engines (automotive, marine or aviation) but not necessary. So long as you are willing to learn, try new skills and keep an open mind. Automotive mechanics are encouraged to apply. General Aviation technicians looking for a career change are also highly regarded.
